Mornings are basically a write off for us. We are definitely not early risers so by the time we get up, have breakfast, a couple of cups of morning caffeine, listen to the news on the radio, read the news on the internet and catch up on emails, well it's time for lunch!

We dinghied to Back Creek this afternoon. We encountered a few rain drops on the way but that cloud passed and we had good, warm weather the rest of the afternoon. Temp in the mid 20s. Back Creek is a smaller creek (really not a creek) than Spa with many, many more marinas and a gazillion boats! We found the dinghy dock, tied up and walked about 1.5 miles to the Giant supermarket, Fawett's Marine and West Marine. Our main reason for doing the trip was to check out the grocery store and to buy oil for our generator. About 3/4 of the way back to the dinghy Jorge uttered a few choice words, we had bought other things but had forgotten to buy the oil! The marinas along the way back to the dinghy were closed as it was after 5 but we were given directions to a gas station located next to Spa Creek bridge so we docked at a private dock without a hassle and Jorge made the trip to the gas station where he was able to buy the required oil. Once back at the boat Jorge changed the oil in the generator, readying it for the next time we needed it. So, we did manage to accomplish the two goals we had set for the day. We are certainly glad we had decided to anchor in Spa Creek, we have a park on one side of us and gorgeous homes on the other. Our end of the creek is serene and quiet. I think it would be a different story in Back Creek.

We then had a late supper and sipped on the bottle of wine until it was almost gone. Life is tough! Tomorrow promises to be almost as bad.
