It was actually NOT raining this morning when we got up. We skyped with our daughter, Jodi, this morning and then got ready to go to the boat show. We decided to tie up at our dinghy dock, walk to West Street and take the free trolley into town - to avoid the crowded downtown dinghy dock. Jorge took in an hour long noontime seminar on iNavigation and I toured some of the booths. We met for a picnic lunch just outside the show and then headed towards Cruising Solutions' booth owned by an Ontario couple.

Our priority list for items to buy at the boat show came full circle about five different times. We got so many different stories from cruisers and what they found important that it really clouded our judgment. Everytime we had it figured out, we heard another scenario about how things could be done that our heads were reeling by the end of the day! We finally had to stop listening to other people and listen to ourselves. In the end, we bought a package to get weather and send e-mails. I think I can even blog from it but using a different system therefore maybe a different blog address. Once we get the system installed I can play around with it and hopefully will have things sorted out by the time we leave Florida.

In the mid afternoon we both took in a seminar on RADAR and AIS. It was interesting and I picked up a few facts that I didn't know before.

We saw some sun this afternoon. The forecast is for a relatively sunny week. (Rett and Bob you should have stayed longer!) We will be leaving Annapolis this week but not sure of the date. It is about 150 miles to Norfolk and we want to be there as soon as possible just in case we get the okay from the insurance company to proceed south before Nov 1.
