We left Titusville this morning shortly after 0700. The ICW was as still as a mill pond all the time we travelled, which was only a little more than 3 hours.

The boat with the lady from Argentina proudly flying the flag.

On entry to Cocoa - a totally neglected boat.

We tied up at a free dock in Cocoa for the allotted 3 hours. I walked around the town and Jorge made some phone calls. He had three issues he wanted to deal with but honestly you would think we were already on island time by the amount of time it took him to get a hold of people!

In English.

En espanol.

By the time we had to leave the free dock, the wind was blowing about 15 kts, blowing us right into the dock, not to mention a moderate chop had developed. We enlisted the help of some guys to fend us off the dock as the wind was so strong, things went well. We headed north (a nasty word) under the bridge to anchor in a more protected spot. There were a total of five boats in the anchorage by nightfall and four were Canadians!

This guy travelling north had some nice wind.

Jorge had some success with contacting people in the afternoon and by the end of the day two issues were partially completed. Not sure what our plans are for tomorrow, might stay here another day. It is difficult to travel (as we mostly motor) and carry on a phone conversation because of the noise of the engine.

Sunset over Cocoa.
