The trip to Titusville was uneventful and another day of no groundings. Maybe the ICW is getting deeper. I doubt it, we averaged about 10 feet of water today.
When run aground, simply get out and pull your boat!

This guy had no boat - he just walked to the fishing grounds.
Did I say the ICW was getting deeper?
A whole bunch of pelicans.

Pelican haven.
Submarine or what . . .
No, a partly submerged boat.
We had gorgeous weather again, blue skies with billowing clouds and a temp of about 28C. We were travelling in shorts and tees and had the enclosure almost totally open. Canadian summer weather. Florida has so far been spared the ice storms happening in most of the other states.
We arrived in Titusville around 1445, filled up with fuel and water, then set anchor at 1530 outside and around the corner from the municipal marina. We dinghied back to the marina and enjoyed $2.00 showers. Jorge had flown the Argentine flag today which attracted the attention of a woman from Buenos Aires and her American husband and we had a chat with them.
We had dinner back on CS'ta Time and then dinghied over to a 42' Leopard, friends of cruisers we had met in the Dismal Swamp. The six of us sat in their cockpit, had after dinner drinks and chatted. Nice boat to say the least! (And nice people too.)
Our anchorage was beside a bar with a live band - still rocking at 2200, it might be a late night! We are planning on staying here tomorrow, resting up a bit and leaving Monday morning.
