It is surprising how motivated one gets with boat jobs when one is expecting company! Friends from our yacht club are coming to stay with us for a few days while we are in Annapolis to take part in the sailboat show. Jorge had previously scrubbed the starboard side of the boat at the waterline so today he tackled the green stuff growing on the port side. I tackled the green stuff growing inside the fridge which thankfully was not as bad as Jorge's. LOL. The freezer section was in desperate need of defrosting, hopefully that will also make the fridge work more efficiently. Besides missing my dishwater (when friends are over for dinner) I miss my frost-free fridge! And just where do you put all the "stuff" from your fridge and freezer while the defrosting is going on? Not to worry, we lined an extra rubber maid container we had and stored everything in that. Worked well. Both missions accomplished today.
Getting ready for the waterline.

In the afternoon Jorge scouted out a spot where he will be able to pull the dinghy ashore. That hull needs a cleaning as well. Maybe tomorrow morning's job.
Today's temp was just around 20C with overcast skies and the sun peeking through a bit. No rain. It is supposed to get cooler with some rain as the week progresses which is too bad because last weekend the weather was more than excellent for the power boat show.
Lynn had dinner with us as Sally is still away, a cooler day so I made a big pot of chili. We watched a movie on CD, Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves, one we have all seen before but our selection of movies is very limited.
The sunset tonight was awesome as you can tell from the number of pictures Jorge took (and I didn't post them all).
