I'm blogging a day late but with good reason. Our friends from HYC arrived around 1800 last night and we were busy eating, drinking and enjoying their company. For those in the know, the company was Rett and Bob from Spanish Point. It was so good to see them, a bit of home!

The rain mostly held off yesterday, until Rett and Bob arrived. Jorge picked them up at the dinghy dock next to our boat as the rain started. Then the heavens opened up and it rained cats and dogs all night!

After a leisurely breakfast, Jorge took them to the boat show. Their schedule was to go today and Friday. We had decided to go Friday and possibly Saturday. Bob has kindly lent us his car for the day so we will run some errands. After the show today we will pick them up, maybe go out for a drink and appetizers but then come back to the boat for dinner. There was some serious bailing to do in the dinghy before the ride to the dock. Jorge got major soakers doing the bailing.
