We had our usual morning. After lunch and after coming back from town, we attended a birthday party for a fellow cruiser on their boat. Appetizers and beer followed by a lasagna supper! Unfortunately we had another commitment for sundowners with a French (France) couple aboard their boat so we left the party early.
Back to the boat shortly after 2000.

We picked Dave up from GYC for Friday Burger Day. Look what the wind blew in!
Diana and Gilbert, Gwen and Guilloume.
Actually we knew Gwen and Guilloume were going to be there as they had brought their boat to Port Louis Marina as they will be going back to Canada for most of August.
After lunch everyone went their separate ways, agreeing to meet up at the museum at 1630 for an evening of jazz and poetry reading. We dinghied to Grand Anse to get some cash from the bank and do some wine buying.
The sidewalk leading to the museum from across the roasd.
Cannon on the sidewalk.
The stairs leading to the museum.
Chatting with a local performer before the event.
Locals and cruisers partaking in the jazz jam session.
It was a great evening, with loads of extremely talented performers. We also met up with other Canadian cruisers (Janet and Jeff) we had first met in Florida. Small world!
Back to the boat at 2030.
Temp has been around 27C in the day and 26C at night. After our early morning rain, we had sunshine for the rest of the day. We have been keeping a close eye on "Bertha" for the last few days. We are thankful she made a turn to the northwest and missed Grenada!
Ah, Burger Day. miss it. Looks like Gavin (Secret Smile) playing at Jazz night with Albie. Cheers from Annapolis. Ainulindale is taking a rest for the summer.
